Career Nights 2008

Please encourage your child to attend the District 214 Career Nights! Speakers from many different from many different career areas will be speaking to students (and parents!) in an informal classroom atmosphere. Students will be able to learn about specific career areas and the education and training needed as well as ask questions. This is an excellent opportunity to learn about several career areas of interest.

There are three Career Nights scheduled this year for District 214. Each of the evenings begins with student registration at 6:30pm. You will then have time to look through a booklet at the list of scheduled speakers and decide which speakers you would like to hear. The first session begins at 7:00 pm, followed by a short break. The second session begins at approximately 7:50pm and ends at 8:30pm. At 8:30 pm the speakers are available in the school cafeteria for individual questions and answers. The evening is recommended for ALL students., Freshman through Seniors! Please see the flyer in this Parent Newsletter for school locations, dates and speakers.
